To share files and folders on your computer

1. Open Windows Explorer, and then display the file or folder you want to share in the right pane.
2. In the right pane, click the file or folder.
3. On the Edit menu, click Copy To Folder.
4. In the Copy Items dialog box, click Shared Documents, and then click Copy.

• To display a file or folder in the right pane of the Explorer window, in the Folders list, click the folder that contains the file or folder you want.
• If you are connected to a network domain, the Shared Documents and Shared Pictures folders are not available.
• Moving or copying a file or folder to Shared Documents makes it available to everyone who uses your computer.
