To share files and folders on your computer
- Open Windows Explorer, and then display the file or folder you want to share in the right pane.
- In the right pane, click the file or folder.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy To Folder.
- In the Copy Items dialog box, click Shared Documents, and then click Copy.

- To display a file or folder in the right pane of the Explorer window, in the Folders list, click the folder that contains the file or folder you want.
- If you are connected to a network , the Shared Documents and Shared Pictures folders are not available.

Moving or copying a file or folder to Shared Documents makes it available to everyone who uses your computer.
